Our Purpose
The Jodi Lou Lung Cancer Foundation was created by Jodi Lou for the purpose of supporting lung cancer research at the UW Carbone Cancer Center. The goal is to get the clinical trial medication from the researcher in the lab to the patient's bedside. It was Jodi's wish to help avoid even one more parent having to say goodbye to their child. It is hard to believe that by even making the right choices in life, as Jodi did, you can still be dealt an unfair hand. Lung cancer is NOT just a smokers disease and that stigma has to change. Thousands of people are afflicted with the disease and there needs to be more money directed to lung cancer research. Thank you for supporting such a great cause!
